HiFi Enthusiasts and Musicians:

From my private workshop/man cave, I offer service, maintenance, repair, restoration, and modification of guitar and bass amplifiers for musicians.
I also repair nearly bombproof HiFi audio equipment of Japanese, American, and English origin.

Traditional craftsmanship and experience combined with modern, innovative research and repair methods, and a worldwide network for supplying (almost) impossible-to-find original parts.

Musicians:

While service provided by mainstream music stores declined sharply in the mid-1990s, Service for Musicians is now back in Twente (Netherlands).

I understand that Musicians have appointments, need to play, perform, entertain, are artists…
Of course, I’ll help you as a musician as quickly as possible. Where necessary (and possible), even the same day.
That’s Service.

My specialties include tube amplifiers from brands like
Kitty Hawk, Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Fender, Gibson, Framus, Dumble, Schaller, Peavey, Geloso, Dynacord, etc., but as long as there’s a tube in it, I’m happy to work on it.

And the HiFi enthusiast?

Here too, specialization is required.

To be clear, I don’t repair HiFi equipment from after 1980.

I specialize in HiFi equipment made in Japan and, less commonly in the Netherlands, HiFi equipment from the USA from after 1980.
Here, too, I have a strong preference for tube equipment.
